Nice program overview for the already experienced

If you're already a trainer and just want a nice overview of how a succesful trainer does things, this would be a nice book. If you need instructions on *how* to do things, pass this book up. For example, when talking about groundwork, the author says she will saddle and lunge a horse, and do ground driving, but there's no instruction on how you should saddle a horse for the first time, any in depth instruction on lunging and no information for anyone not already familar with how to introduce ground driving. If you don't already know what equipemnt you need, how to run your lines, etc., you won't find it here.

Great training aid

I would recommend this book for those who have some experience with horse training or who have been riding with instruction and want to start training their own horse. The terminology was easy to understand and if you have the experience above, you'll easily understand this book. I also own some of Dana Hokana's training videos and have found them to be very useful as well. Overall, I found this to be a great book.
